Voice calibration

Read the four tones of ma clearly, from your normal speaking voice: high, rising, low, falling. This tells the tone grader where your voice sits.

mother, hemp, horse, to scold

Sorry, couldn’t hear you properly

That didn’t count against you. Check the microphone isn’t muted or covered, hold it a little closer, and read it once more at a normal volume.
